Questions

Good to know

What’s the minimum order?

Labels start at 1,000 pieces. Wraps, tags and bands can be smaller. Bespoke pieces are quoted one by one.

Is it hand-made washi?

Both are available. Machine-made washi suits most label runs; hand-made Niigata paper is limited and best for small editions. We tell you exactly which paper you’re getting and where it’s from.

How long does it take?

Usually 6–10 weeks from approved design to delivery, so we plan back from your release date. Plan holiday and wedding orders early.

Can you make labels for wine, sake or spirits sold in the US?

Yes. We check your layout against US label requirements before production. Label approval with the TTB remains the brand owner’s responsibility.

Where do you ship?

Directly from Japan to the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and most English-speaking markets. Import duties and taxes in your country may apply on delivery.

How do I pay?

Once you approve the quote, we send a secure Stripe payment link for a 50% deposit to start production. The balance is due before shipping. Invoiced in US dollars by Nami Sake LLC.

Do you supply bottles?

No. We focus on what goes on and around them.
